Great Spatial Reasoning Game!
I bought this on a whim for my gifted/accelerated 7 year old, 3rd grade son, to entertain him while traveling. He enjoyed doing the puzzles, and zoomed through the puzzles easily. Little did I know that it would become my almost-4 year old's FAVORITE game! She asks to play it daily, and works through the pamphlet's first twelve "Pro" (easiest Level 1) puzzles with minimum assistance. She will do them over-and-over! Sometimes she wants to move on to the next level, and does ask for help but enjoys working through the spatial shapes. It is also fantastic for her fine-motor and recognition skills, as most of her errors are because she's dropped the piece one hole over, or forgot to turn a shape just-so. We have taken it to a restaurant for a long meal/conversation, and it kept both kids occupied! It is a fantastic size to keep in your purse/diaper bag. I do wish the pieces were magnetic, for less chance of losing them, but we've surprisingly managed to keep them (even with a sneaky baby and puppy!) Definitely worth the seven bucks!

Educational—but don’t tell them!!!
Very engaging activity for kids & older folks. Grandkids love it! Son & I raced (I bought 2) to see who could solve puzzles faster. This is a fun game no matter your age. Encourages problem solving, practice of spatial relationships, & reading of a diagram. As a former teacher, I see power & benefits to playing the game which far outweigh “game time” —although it works great for just that!!

They loved all of them
Bought this, the IQ fit and the IQ Twist for my grand daughters who are 4 1/2 , 6 1/2 and 8. They loved all of them. Even the littlest one was able to do the simplest of the puzzles. There are levels of difficulty and they were excited about stepping up to the more difficult ones. The IQ fit was great for the 8 year old because it is made up of 3D pieces and is therefore more challenging.

Great motor-processing tool - or game for one person
This game is great for a one-player game. We have an autistic child (high functioning, verbal) who is 4 years behind scholastically, yet many of the things he says are brilliant, so we got him this game and were amazed at how quickly he did the puzzles. These type of games are fantastic at developing motor skills and confidence. We simply opened the booklet for him and he was able to easy follow the diagrams and complete puzzle after puzzle. The pieces are small, but the booklet was easy to read and follow.

Great puzzle game for kids, and adults too!
My 6 year old son saw this in his classroom and wanted to buy this. He was really excited to show me all the possibilities once he got it. So this was really worth it. In today's world of video games, this is a throwback to a physical, logically stimulating puzzle games of the past. The construction quality is good. There are different types of puzzles you get to solve. And it is not easy. I tried building a pyramid after my son did one in about a minute. I spent 5 minutes trying before having to peak at the attached solution guide! Pros: 1. Good construction quality, with storage case and a solution guide included. 2. Pieces are also well designed and fit together nicely with no wobble causing gaps. 3. Variety of puzzles to be solved, keeping young ones busy and stimulated. 4. You can also try funky shapes of your own imagination. Cons: None really. If you lose some piece, the entire set may become unusable. So just be careful with the pieces. Included storage case helps with that. Strongly recommended puzzle game for kids! They love the colors and the challenge of solving different puzzles.

Great fun!
I bought this for our 9 year old. He enjoys it, and so have his siblings. They are finding it addictive and don't want to stop solving the puzzles. I've been amazed at how good my 6 year old is with these puzzles. I have really been able to see how spatially gifted (or not) my individual children are with this toy. I highly recommend it.

Great for a very wide range of ages!
I bought this to take to basketball tournaments to keep my youngest (7yrs, 1st grade) entertained during breaks between games. It has been a hit. I think many of my sons teammates (7th grade) even enjoy it. One of the players siblings (3rd grade) always hangs around and I can tell exactly what he wants. So when I ask do you want to play Kanoodle. It's always YES! Great game for a very wide range of ages.

Do this if you want more higher level puzzles
There are 12 game pieces (noodles). The booklet provides 6 levels for the 2D puzzles. Level 1 shows the placements of 11, and the player completes the puzzle by putting in the last one. Level 2 shows the placements of 10, and the player puts in the remaining two, and so on up to level 6 where the player is challenged to fill in with the last 6 noodles. Often the player may skip the lower level puzzles because they are too easy resulting with (much) fewer puzzles for the player to play with. Just remember this is not an "app game". You have total control to NOT preload as many noodles as suggested in the booklet. For example Level 1 suggests pre-positioning 11 noodles. You can turn it into a level 6 puzzle by only putting down 6 on the game board. You can also generate you own higher level puzzles by preloading even fewer noodles. I expect the same can be done to the 3D puzzles. Since I need to work on improving my 3D spatial visualization skills so the existing puzzles are quite sufficient for now. Bottom line, this is an amazing puzzle game for "kids" of all ages.

A brilliant idea and an almost perfect design!
So I'm 23, and a graduate student of philosophy. I wanted to buy this cheap looking puzzle as a gift for my nephews. BUT, this is an absolutely fabulous game, I fell in love with it in minutes, completing the puzzles (especially 3-d ones) give an immense pleasure, and the very top level puzzles are not easy at all! I cannot imagine anyone, from an infant to a senior, not being glad for having a Kanoodle! And my first impression is that it would definitely improve the mental skills of young children.
